Island wide delivery as of the 22nd of April


We hope that all of you are doing well and keeping safe. I would firstly like to thank you all our customers for the overwhelming support and orders.  Over the last two weeks we have been doing our best to serve our customers within the Colombo and grater Colombo district and have had great feedback. Due to the success of the timely deliveries within Colombo and the volume of request from our customers located out of Colombo we will be commencing our usual national delivery as of the 23rd of April. The interests of our customers, our staff and our communities are at the centre of everything we do, and this is particularly important during these challenging times. 
 
I am very pleased that we have managed to serve you during this time and continue to ask you for your understanding and support as our staff are doing everything possible to make sure that you receive your orders on time. On occasions we might have to limit your order quantities so that we can serve others and vulnerable customers. We are working very hard to make sure that all government guidelines and advise are carried out during the entire operations process and we kindly ask you to be understanding (you might experience longer than usual customer service waiting times and deliveries may take longer than usual) and support us especially during this period as it is a challenge that none of our dedicated staff have faced before.  
 
With this in mind, we wanted to reach out and reassure you that we are putting in place a number of robust measures designed to make health and safety a top priority whilst still enabling people to collect and receive parcels. We understand that deliveries to homes may not be as straight forward as before to all of us. We kindly ask you to communicate your preferences with us, so that it can be carried out conveniently. We are making some changes to the way our team deliver parcels to offer 'contact-free delivery' right to everyone's doorsteps. 
 
These include:
  • Asking customers to choose a safe place for deliveries. This can also be done through our web site contact us form or by simply contacting our customer service team.
  • If a safe place hasn't been chosen but there is somewhere safe to deliver the parcel, then the driver will leave it there, even when there is someone in the property.
  • For parcels requiring payment, our drivers will stand 2 meters away and place the parcel and will collect the funds once the order is delivered. The payment can be left at a safe distance for it to be collected. This will only happen when the customer opens the door and gives their name for security reasons. The driver will stay at least two meters away.
Finally, I want to thank you for your co-operation, understanding and patience during these uncertain times. I hope this update will give those of you who have been running out of their basic toiletries and essentials ‘one less thing' to worry about.
